COVID and Solitary

Individuals incarcerated in the Rhode Island Department of Corrections are on lock-down, due to COVID-19.

​

All prisoners in High Security have masks. Prisoners in High Security only get 40 minutes of recreation time a day (excluding weekends and holidays) and eat their meals with decreased portions in their cells.

​

Prisoners across RIDOC do not have access to visits, even though the Governor opened most indoor spaces July 1.
