SOLITARY CONFINEMENT IN RI
COVID and Solitary

Individuals incarcerated in the Rhode Island Department of Corrections are on lock-down, due to COVID-19.

All prisoners in High Security have masks. Prisoners in High Security only get 40 minutes of recreation time a day (excluding weekends and holidays) and eat their meals with decreased portions in their cells.

Prisoners across RIDOC do not have access to visits, even though the Governor opened most indoor spaces July 1.
